The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) technical committee’s working group on quality and competence in the medical laboratory (ISO/TC212 WG1) is due to review the quality standard ISO15189:2012.
A survey has been developed and users working in laboratories, accreditation bodies and agencies and accreditation assessors are encouraged to participate, in addition to any professional who might have reason to use the standard.
Feedback from the participants will be shared with the members of the ISO/TC212 WG1 and be consulted with the results of the review, to determine the extent of the revisions necessary to be made to the standard.
