The IBMS hosted the North East region gala dinner and awards ceremony in October.
More than 60 guests attended, including IBMS President Ian Sturdgess and IBMS CEO Jill Rodney.
The event was hosted by Debra Padgett, IBMS North East Council Member and David Robinson, North East Regional Chair.
The IBMS silver medal was awarded to Professor John Magee, Robert Pratt and Michael Soar, for their 50 years of continuous dedicated membership.
Guests enjoyed a three-course meal, followed by a talk by historian Lesley Smith on “Sex and the Tudors”.
