The IBMS has announced new dates for Congress 2021 to ensure the safety of delegates while uncertainty continues over social distancing regulations.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, and the uncertainty over when social distancing indoors will be significantly reduced, it has been decided that IBMS Congress will be moved from September 2021 to March 2022.
Although Congress is still a considerable way off, it is not clear when we may be able to see a significant reduction of COVID-19 risk in respect of large gatherings.
Consideration must be given to delivering a safe and successful event for delegates, speakers and exhibitors.
The IBMS will keep members updated on plans and the full programme will be announced in early 2021 to allow plenty of time for planning budgets.
