The Biomedical Scientist magazine was victorious in the highly contested best magazine category at an awards ceremony.
The publication won “Best Magazine for a Professional Association or Membership Organisation with a circulation of less than 20,000”.
The Memcom Membership Excellence Awards aim to showcase innovation and celebrate achievements on behalf of membership organisations.
The judges praised the magazine for its combination of long reads and short-format information and said that the average reading time is impressive, for such a busy profession.
