Microbiology and infectious diseases

Details have been announced for the 28th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, which will be held in Madrid on 21 to 24 April.

Madrid, Spain

Leading experts will join the congress in infectious diseases, infection control and clinical microbiology to present and discuss the latest results.

Among the topics that will be covered in the keynote lectures are “Immunology taught by viruses” and “The 1918 Spanish influenza – the mother of all pandemics”.

There will also be a range of scientific symposia, meet-the-expert sessions, and educational workshops.

The congress sessions are geared toward participants with different levels of experience working across the sector.
