Shannice Fraser received the Robert Graham Microbiology Prize at an awards ceremony.
The award, which was presented by Karen Graham, is open to all final-year undergraduate students undertaking a BSc degree in biomedical science at Queen’s University Belfast.
It is made to the student with the highest marks in the “Infections” module.
Shannice completed her biomedical science degree with first class honours and is currently studying for her PhD in medicine at Queen’s University Belfast. The award is dedicated to the memory of Robert Graham, biomedical scientist and microbiologist, and the investment in education, which he was so passionate about.
