The Sheffield Branch of the IBMS recently held its annual AGM at The Source in Sheffield at the end of January.
The AGM was preceded by two presentations.
Mike Conway, Service Manager for Mortuary, Bereavement and Post Mortem Examination Services at Chesterfield gave a presentation entitled “From Mundane to Mayhem, Mortuaries and Me”.
Jess White, a Biomedical Scientist from Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, presented on her experiences in Ayder hospital, Mekelle in Ethiopia.She spent two weeks in Mekelle for the charity Sheffield Health Action Resource for Ethiopia.
