This year is the 70th birthday of the NHS. To celebrate, the IBMS is working with NHS England to highlight the contributions members have made in the NHS.
The aim is to thank them for their hard work and promote the vital role of biomedical science in healthcare.
Over the coming months, the IBMS is encouraging members to share their stories of working in the NHS since 1948. To start the celebrations, the first IBMS History Week was held from 19 to 25 February. Information about further events the IBMS is holding will be published soon.
To contribute, send a short description of your role at the NHS, the dates that you work (or have worked) there, and any stories you would like to share. Photographs are also gratefully received.
